Nivea Soft -In a white plastic tub-Not the blue one.

(Intensive moisturising cream)What is the best face cream to use to get rid of dry skin?
I advise you to try Clarins products, they really work fine. Just visit any Departmental Store and go to the Clarins counter and get advise from their beauty consultant there.

I had more or less the same problem and it's long since gone after using Clarins products.

God bless you.
Try going into a beauty clinic and ask for a skin consultation and ask the about their dermologica products for dry skin. Website www.dermologica.com.
Something organic. Using cream with goat's milk is good too. It gets rid of any itching and dry skin. Hope this helps. :)

What is the best face cream for intensely dry skin?

I normally use Mary Kay Intense Moisturizer, but I'd like to switch to something else. I've also tried Origins, and it leaves my face feeling too dry, I feel like I can't even smile moments afterwardsWhat is the best face cream for intensely dry skin?
The La Roche-Posay BioMedic line is outstanding, and recommended by most plastic surgeons and dermatologists. They have an intense moisturizer that is not greasy at all, and a bunch of other fine products that don't clog pores and make you break out. You can buy the product at plastic surgeon's or dermatologist's offices, or you can google it and buy it several places online (as well as their own website, below). The stuff has changed my life :)What is the best face cream for intensely dry skin?
Ponds!

nothing like that
Use a warm wet towel then a thin layer of petroleum jelly.

Put the warm wet towel on again and relax, or just go to sleep. Remember though, thats a thin layer, don't glop it on.
Best Thing I Can Say To Do Is Go Into Your Local Beauty Salon And Ask Them If They Can Recomend Something, Tis All Very Well Gettin Friends To Recomend Something But They Arent Professionals And Have No Idea What A Different Product Could Do To Your Skin
try nivea aqua all day.
For dry skin, use an avocado as an exfoliator. Leave on for 15 minutes. Then wipe off %26amp; slather Olive Oil on afterwards.

Most beauty products contain chemicals in them that just dry out your face even more. Natural moisturizers are the best way to go.

What's a good face cream/moisturizer of a teenager?

My mom has some shiseido face cream, but I've read that its not a good idea for teenagers to use it. May I have some suggestions on what to use? What's a good face cream/moisturizer of a teenager?
Try neutrogenaWhat's a good face cream/moisturizer of a teenager?
it kind of depends on your skin type. oily, acne-prone, dry, combination?

I use clinique dramatically different moisturizer

the LOTION is good for dryer skin

the GEL is good for oilier skin.

And shiseido is fine for all ages? I dont know who told you its not good for teenagers but as far as I know it should be fine. Shiseido is a very good line.
Because your skin is a lot different to a fully grown adult, you will experience hormonal effects with your skin. It generally depends what type of skin you have: oily, dry, sensitive or combination. To be safe use a gentle product such as cetaphil or QV. I have used these and it helps a lot.

My face goes really red when hot or cold does any one know of good solution to conceal - make up? or creams?

I dont think its a medical problem - i reckon im just more prone to reddening of the face. so any good cosmetic products suggestions would be great. My face goes really red when hot or cold does any one know of good solution to conceal - make up? or creams?
If in the UK, Boots make a green-based concealer in a tube that works amazingly well at neutralising rosy complexion :) Any concealer with green as the base colour will neutralise red, don't worry, you won't go green instead! My face goes really red when hot or cold does any one know of good solution to conceal - make up? or creams?
Hiya

If you want to use cosmetics, a girlie day out to the body shop is great...Bonuses? Apart from knowing thats their products are safe, not tested on animals yadda yadda they'll take the time to go over what make-up is good/bad...whats going on in your body to cause the flushing and products that might help...you don't need to book an appointment, just talk to a member of staff...random picking of products in stores can be costly and ineffective and beauty counters in places like Debenhams, Fenwicks etc...just want to sell products, leave you looking like Aunt Sally and make cash. Cool gel packs from superdrug, boots etc...also give you a quick fix and hide desceitly in your handbag...

PS, I too agree with the 'green' cream theory...it does work!!

Good luck!!
becoz ur veins supply more blood when they are under strain which causes the redness.wat u can do is wash ur face with cold water while going out...it wont help much though . I think its not curable by any cosmetics.use sunscream though for protection

Does an expire face cream still works as not a expire one?

I bought this Olay face cream and when I got home I realize it's expire!! I was going to return it but I loss the receipt. Is it still good to put on?Does an expire face cream still works as not a expire one?
i wouldn't risk it, especially on your face- you wouldn't want to have a bad reaction to it. most stores will at least give you store credit for a returned item if you don't have the receipt- as long as you didn't open it.Does an expire face cream still works as not a expire one?
when it expires it means that the chemicals have expired and not any good! Don't use it chemicals begin to seperate after time.

I have and avon store that is totally awesome and the prices are wonderful!! I have many types of cleansers and scrubs, and much more for whatever your needs are please visit this site

Can you get vitamin E poisoning by applying too much face cream?

I am doing an assignment on vitamin poisoning and I would like to know the answer cos I can't find it anywhere. Can you get vitamin E poisoning by applying too much face cream?
No. Topically you cannot get vitamin E toxicity.

Fat soluble vitamins are ADE and K. You can overdose on them if you take them by mouth. Can you get vitamin E poisoning by applying too much face cream?
That would be a no! You will not get vitamin E poisoning from face cream. However you could get it from taking the pill, but because you are not directly ingesting it into your system by applying it to your face you will not get poisoned from it.
if you can't find it,

wouldn't that mean that it just doesn't exist ;o)
If it contains Vitamin E,yes.
yes if you put it on your face , there is a very ghigh chance you will be murdered by your parents =]
i shouldnt think so .i been putting vitamin e on my face fr yrs...mines ok...last time i checked !!!!

  • What brand of face cream do you recommend for wrinkles?

It's for my mom and shes 45.What brand of face cream do you recommend for wrinkles?
    1. SILK PILLOWCASES. If you can't afford that try satin, but silk is better. Silk also helps with sensitive skin, lets your skin breath, helps stop blemishes and eczema. It's been used for centuries by the Chinese to prevent fine lines and wrinkles due to its soft texture and natural properties that help keep your skin balanced.

    2. LAVENDER based facial creams or other essential oils. They help balance the oils in your skin. They also help heal sun damage age spots and skin irritations.

    3. OIL OF OLAY and L'OCCTAINE DE PROVENCE. Oil of Olay is cheaper (way cheaper) but L'Occtaine works better in the long run too. I think it is worth the price. What brand of face cream do you recommend for wrinkles?
if you wanna go with the expensive then lancome renigee

but if you wanna go cheaper get olay face cream .
    Depends on your budget.

If you want to go cheap, do Olay.

How to do this Science question - mixing flour into face cream?

Some manufacturers of face cream are suspected of mixing flour into the cream. I am given 4 samples of face cream from different manufacturers. Describe what could be done to confirm that they do not contain flour.

(Oh please, help. Answer in full complete sentences. Your generous answer is much appreciated.)How to do this Science question - mixing flour into face cream?
Flour will turn dark, dark blue or black when reacted with iodine, because iodine turns starch dark blue or black, and flour contains starch.

You can add some drops of iodine to your samples. If they do not turn blue or black, that shows that they do not contain starch, and therefore do not contain flour. How to do this Science question - mixing flour into face cream?
Try baking them! If they turn into face cream cookies, they have flour in them. If they just melt everywhere, they don't!

I am yet to find a good day/night face cream. their is a day and night cream that you can get the brand is Olay and it works really really well!!! but it does not cost alot and if it is alot do you it is definitley worth it and also it is quite a thick substance.
I enjoy Nivea. But if you may think that it is too thick. A true blue product that proves itself over time %26amp; time again is Ponds. It is lighter than most creams and yet it moisturises beautifully. Best wishes.

    Home made Skin Masks

Even though store shelves are heaving with a variety of exorbitantly priced skin care products, we offer you some tips %26amp; tricks, to not only save money, but discover the goodness of fruit, vegetables and natural ingredients.

Forget the jargon, the high sounding fundas. AHA ( Alpha hydroxy acid ) products can easily be made at home, since they are made of fruit, and you are bound to find the remaining ingredients on your kitchen shelf or in the fridge! Fruits are natural anti-oxidants.

    The Acid test鈥?

Malic acid: Apples, vinegar, applesauce, cider

Lactic acid: Buttermilk, yogurt, powdered skim milk, sour cream, blackberries, tomatoes

Tartaric Acid: Grapes, grape juice, wine, cream of tartar

Citric Acid: Citrus fruits such as lemons, limes, grapefruit, and orange

    Glycolic acid: Sugar cane

In a hurry? Cut a fruit into small cubes ( papaya, melon, strawberry, banana etc ) and rub on your face. Leave it for 10 mins. Rinse and see the difference! Pureed fruit also makes for a delicious skin treat. Apply and leave on for 10 mins. For best results.

Lets whip up delicious concoctions of these fruits and vegetables and help you discover a new you!

    Go on, mask it鈥?br>

    Tomato %26amp; Milk

    Ratio:1 medium tomato : 1 cup milk

Process the tomato, in a blender. Strain through a piece of muslin and discard the pulp. Add the tomato juice to an equal amount of milk. Store in a covered container or bottle in the refrigerator. Apply to face and neck. Leave for 10 mins. Wash clean. Cleanses and refreshes the skin.

Shelf life: 6 hours in refrigerator

    Almond Delite

You can't do much better than almond milk cleansers if you have dry or aged skin. Almond oil lubricates and softens the skin, and glycerine helps it retain moisture.

Ratio: 1/2 cup rose water :1 teaspoon pure glycerin

    Add 1 teaspoon almond oil

Make the rose or lavender water by placing a small handful of dried organic rose petals or lavender in a glass jar. Add boiling water to cover. Let it stand overnight, then strain well. Combine the remaining ingredients in a glass jar and shake to blend. Dab on fingers and massage into your skin. Rinse with warm water.

Shelf life: 1 month in refrigerator.

    24 Carrots

Carrots are good for the eyes, we all know. But did you know boiled, grated carrot, mixed with milk and applied to the face or body, can work wonders for your skin? Makes for a fairer, smoother skin.

Ratio: 1 grated carrot: 1 tbsp. milk

Arbonne's NutriMin C, Re9 system. Specifically for anti-aging, and if you could only get one product in that line, I would recommend the REcover Night Cream: http://www.arbonne.com/products/anti-agi鈥?/a>

    Go to arbonne.com .

Yes, it is VERY pricey... but it lasts at LEAST a year and is a wonderful product. When it comes to makeup and skincare, I think you get what you pay for [to an extent - there are some cost-effective things that are great]. So divide $79 by 12 months and it costs approximately $6.50/month [less, if it lasts you longer than a year].

Personally, I can't afford to use the NutriMin C Re9 system right now, but if I could, I totally would.

The Arbonne Intelligence line is great, too, and cheaper.

Is there any good face cream that can prevent oily skin?

I used a Mary Kay oil prevention lotion for a while, but I'd like to try something different. Any thoughts? Is there any good face cream that can prevent oily skin?
Okay, this is going to sound really weird but this is one of the BEST-KEPT BEAUTY SECRETS for those with oily skin: applying Milk of Magnesia to your skin completely sucks up oil. Odd, yes...but it's been a godsent for me!!

I totally understand your problem. I have chronically oily skin, friends have actually told me to wipe my face because it gets so oily :(. Milk of Magnesia has helped me tremendously! My face stays matte through the entire day! You just apply a thin layer of the liquid to your face and rub it in quickly before it dries. It will soak up all the oiliness or excess sweat that may make your face a shiny mess!

You can buy some Milk of Magnesia at any drugstore. Try it out!Is there any good face cream that can prevent oily skin?
well um i hav my own recipe ok...um get oatmeal and put alittle bit of water and with your hand and squish it and put it on your face but do it like every saturday or once a week or you can peel a cucumber get the green things and blend it untill its like a cream and it will really help ur skin
this will help you with great tips on skin care
I hate oily skin!! and i have it too...i use rapid clear by clean and clear!! mayb and hopefully it works for you!!!C:C:C:

There is no such thing as a good ';moisturizer'; for oily skin. It all makes me break out.

i use products for sensitive skin, because they have less oil in them. also try oil-free products, like from dove and oil of olay.
Any Cream or moisturizer that Says, ';oil Free'; Should be good.
Mary Kay has a good mositurzer for oily skin.

The oil-free lotion helps reduce the appearance of fine lines for younger-looking skin. Plus, it contains a next-generation antioxidant to guard against free radicals which cause the skin to age. The combination to oily formula helps absorb and control oil while providing essential hydration and special ingredients to give the skin a silky feel with a matte appearance.
Yes there is darling, it's by Mary Kay and I sell it. If you send me your information I will send you some samples and you tell me how it worked for you.

How do i find out if a face cream is non-comodemic?

I want to find this out so i can use a face cream that will moisturise enough to help my dry skin, but won't clog my pores and make my acne worse.....How do i find out if a face cream is non-comodemic?
Read the label and packaging. If it is non-comedogenic, it will say so on the label and/or packaging.

What is the correct way to apply face cream?

some people warm up the face cream on their palms before applying it all over their face, some dot the cream on their forehead, nose, cheeks and chin and apply, some apply in circular motion, some massage it in, some spread it outward etc etc.

what is the correct way to apply it so that it really absorbs in your skin and gives you the best results? how do you do it?What is the correct way to apply face cream?
When I was a Mary Kay consultant this is how we were taught to do it: apply a small amount to the tip of your middle finger; distribute it to the tips of all your fingers (ie both hands) by rubbing them together back and forth. Dot the cream to your face a few times, then with an upward motion and starting at the jawline smooth it all over. When you put your foundation on, make your last movements downward movements to make the facial hairs lie flat. What is the correct way to apply face cream?
rub it gently and slowly in a circular motion all over your face
I warm it up in my hands and massage it in, do not forget your neck and chest area.
first wash your face with soap and water then pat dry your face then apply your face cream but make sure your face is dry before applying lt
i dot the cream and then message the cream in small circles with my finger tips in the upward direction. thats what most of them do
There is no correct way to do it because everyone has different skin types. If you have sensitive skin i would apply in circular motion or dot it.
I apply it to my still slightly moist skin in an upward and outward motion with my head tilted back as far as possible. I am hoping this will help my drooping jowls. (I am in my 50's) Sorry if that gave you a bad visual.

I don't know if this is the ';correct'; way, but this is how I apply it. Actually, mine is a moisturizing LOTION, but if I were to use a cream, that is how I would apply.
Apply the amount of cream on your hand, Rab it and then apply it on you face. The way of applying is to move both hands on one cheek for example from down to up. Don't go from down to up and from up to down. Do it down up and down up so the cream apply to your pores. Do the same thing to all your face.
Don't put too much otherwise your skin will get oily. Apply it in a circular motion on your cheeks, forehead, chin, nose and neck. Don't press the end of the tube directly on your skin because it might be unclean, put some on the tip of your fingers instead
I apply my face cream right out of the shower. I wash and exfoliate, pat dry and then apply the cream. The actual application method doesn't matter so much as the when. Skin is still moist right after washing, and applying face cream at this time helps ';lock in'; the moisture.

What face creams have an SPF of 30 or higher that won't clog my pores (non-comedogenic)?

many different companies have them, forget about non-comedogenic, you have to experiment with them to find one you are not allergic to, people often confuse acne with allergies. There is a different. I used to think I was getting acne when it was really an irritation to certain chemicals. I now use a Mary Kay product that is 30spf.What face creams have an SPF of 30 or higher that won't clog my pores (non-comedogenic)?
neutrogena healthy defense daily moisturizer. i have bad acne and that doesn't clog your pores. =)What face creams have an SPF of 30 or higher that won't clog my pores (non-comedogenic)?
I use Coppertone SPORT. Its got a 30 SPF, and its a nice thin spray that you don't feel at all (also, no rubbing involved)! It not sticky, or slimey and I like the smell of it!

NOTE鈥 HAVE WRITTEN THIS LONG ANSWER TO RESPOND TO QUESTIONS RELATING TO BECAUSE THEY COME UP SO OFTEN:

    OILY SKIN

    ACNE

    FACIAL LIGHTENING

    DEALING WITH ACNE SCARRING

    DEALING WITH STRETCH MARKS

    IMPROVING SKIN TONE

    PIMPLES

    BLACKHEADS

    EMERGENCY SPOT TREATMENT

    INGROWING HAIRS

    BODY ACNE

鈥HE INFO鈥橲 BASED ON MY OWN EXPERIENCE. I鈥橫 36 NOW SO I鈥橵E HAD TO DEAL WITH THESE ISSUES FOR QUITE A WHILE AND THOUGH MUCH OF THIS ANSWER MAY BE IRRELEVANT, I HOPE THERE'LL BE SOMETHING THAT CAN HELP YOU!

    GOOD LUCK!!!

RECOMMENDED SKIN CARE鈥 use clean and clear cream wash (good for sensitive skin or those that dry to easy) or Neutrogena clear skin make up remover wash. Both contain salicylic acid which prevents breakouts and gradually evens the skin tone out too. This is the most important thing you can do. I鈥檝e tried various 鈥榦il free鈥?鈥檚alicylic acid鈥?moisturisers but the best I鈥檝e found is the clean and clear on鈥 found the Neutrogena one actually seemed to aggravate my skin.

EMERGENCY SPOT TREATMENT!...The toothpaste things works! Put on a blob at night and put a bit of tissue over it so it doesn't make a mess. It cools the area down and reduces the inflammation. I also recommend the clean and clear advantage spot treatment gel.

HORMONAL SPOTS鈥ny female with spots I'd recommend trying dianette or yasmine contraceptive pills because if it's hormonal that can sort everything out within weeks鈥hough it can take a couple of months to get used to the pill.

FACIAL ACNE: AVOID鈥on't use harsh scrubs and peroxide products daily like some people do; that can dry your skin and make produce MORE oil...just exacerbating the problem. Many face packs I鈥檝e tried and those blackhead removal strips too seem to have caused problems.

I鈥檝e also had problems with those 鈥榝acial wipes鈥?made by clean and clear and Neutrogena because they鈥檙e too drying and when the top layer鈥檚 too dry, the oil gets stuck underneath and causes more problems!

Some say chocolate doesn鈥檛 affect it鈥t does for me and I don鈥檛 know how or why that should be but certain foods do seem to affect break out. Coffee is one of those things that seems to aggravate my skin too. So look out for anything you eat that might be making it worse.

HAIR PRODUCTS鈥e careful what products you use in your hair if it's long - certain conditioners have causes me to break out at times. Also be careful of hair gels, hair sprays and serums.

INGROWING HAIRS鈥or men or women鈥f you have oily skin, these are more likely. For men鈥se a facial scrub and avoid moisturisers that don鈥檛 have salicylic acid in them if you use a moisturiser. Some hair conditioners are much better lubricants than shaving cream too 鈥?so you might want to try that, and then was afterwards with a clean and clear was etc. Also I recommend the microdermabrasion kit mentioned later.

For women鈥axing seems to cause the main problem 鈥?we pay most attention to our faces. Waxing seems to be the main culprit as opposed to shaving or hair removal creams鈥o avoid in-growing hairs, make sure to exfoliate. I recommend using those exfoliating gloves 鈥?that way, you can use any kind of shower gel.

NUTRITION鈥 recommend taking a 100% multi vitamin/mineral complex 鈥?those little spots you get around your mouth can be due to a vitamin b deficiency for example. Also I recommend Omega 369 oils every day because they improve blood flow.

OLD WIVES TALE??...It's an 'old wives tale' type remedy - but a spoonful of cider vinegar and honey in hot water 3 times a day is meant to help EVERYTHING. It tastes nice too...kinda like honey and lemon X

HYDRATION鈥?Keep your hydration right by drinking plenty of water, avoiding caffeine and alcohol and too much salt!

DEALING WITH SCARRING鈥here鈥檚 an excellent micro-dermabrasion scrub called 鈥榬e-finish鈥? by L'oreal. You only use it a couple of times a week (and use at night because it makes your face red!). It really works not just with the colouring but also the texture - smoothes it back out. It comes with it's own moisturiser which I don't use but I use the scrub at night a couple of times a week and put bio oil on which it supposed to help clear scarring and even skin tone.

If you get your skin relatively under control, try using '21 days Fade Cream' (which I get from eBay) because it quickly clears up any scarring. It鈥檚 a skin lightening cream and is very effective as long as your skin type agrees with it. Bio oil is a good alternative!

Also, to detract from the colour variations in your skin tone, I recommend using Benefit鈥檚 Posie Tint or Benetint lipstain 鈥?this can be put on your cheeks and lips (which also makes your teeth look whiter as an added bonus). Lipstain is better than lipstick because it doesn鈥檛 smudge and it stays on; you can put lip balm or lip gloss on over it. Also, if you use it (SPARINGLY) on your cheeks, it is just like putting water on there; it doesn鈥檛 aggravate the skin or cause breakouts.

    LI
You can get pore strips- you peel them- wet them, then put them on your nose, or wherever your black heads are, wait till it dries then slowley peel it off.

If you do one per week it works well- more than that, and youll get dry skin .

You can see all the blackheads on the strip, when it comes off. it looks like lots of small hairs, but its oil. ;) good luck !
I put full strength tea tree oil on my problem areas every night and I have had fantastic results! It can be drying, so you probably want to moisturize too. My blackheads were pretty much gone in about a week and a half.

    you can also try this:

put toothpaste on the blackhead and leave it overnight then wash it off in the morning

    try this also:

Use one tsp. of lemon juice and one tsp. of ground cinnamon as a scrub.

repeat this everyday in the mornings for about a half month to see differences =)

All these are home remedies so you can try anyone and see which one works the best.
You should start going to an esthetician for facials. It might hurt a little but it's worth it.

A facial is a procedure involving a variety of skin treatments, including: steam, exfoliation, extraction, creams, lotions, masks, peels, and massage. Normally performed in a beauty salon but it is also a common spa treatment

You can also get a chemical peel, chemical peels are a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that improves the appearance of skin on the face, neck, legs, arms, or body.

I have tryed masks, cleansers and they havent work at all, and they are all over my nosie.I have tryed face cream and other blackhead removers but non work. whats the best way to get ride or them?

LII have tryed face cream and other blackhead removers but non work. whats the best way to get ride or them?
You can get blackhead removing facials at the beauticians.

An exfoliating cleanser is probably the best thing you could buy at the chemists though.

How would you know if a face cream is ruining your skin?

so i've been using this face cream for about three years and it makes my skin very smooth and nice. but when my parents caught me using it by rubbing it all over my skin they told me that i was burning away layers of my skin. that cream is only used for little spots. after stop using the cream, my skin got very dry and irritable to everything i put on it. does that mean it is harming my skin? and should i stop using it completely? How would you know if a face cream is ruining your skin?
yea its harming ya skin and stop using it only your skin will breakout

just buy skin id it really worksHow would you know if a face cream is ruining your skin?
You should not have to depend on a skin cream on a daily basis to keep your skin smooth.

I have battled acne prone skin for years and found that rather than skin creams and tablets, the best thing for it is a good healthy diet and lots of water.

I believe you probably are harming your skin using that cream, but should seek medical advice for a proper diagnosis.
Yes, you should really stop using it...like for good.

I just started using sugar...plain white sugar...mixing it with a small amount of water until it's like the consistancy of toothpaste and washing my face with it.usually 2 times in a row... Then taking honey (all natural) and smearing that on my face (2-3 xs a week). Leave it on for like 5 mins. That should take care of exfoliating your skin, healing any breakouts and also mousturizing. I also put a light moisturizer on at night and in the morning.
the best advice i can give you is to go to a dermacoligist and have them look at your skin and they will find you a perfect face wash for your skin type. however i suggest if youve been having these problems ever since you started using the cream then throw it away but if its only been happening recently it could be something else cuasing your skin to get irritated.
What your using might be a little too harsh for your skin. I do not recommend Clean and Clear products. They ruin my skin! My skin turned bright red once, everyone in my school called me Tomato!

I think you should try something light, like a soap. I recommend Neutrogena products! They work amazing for me! They keep my skin soft even if I don't use it for a while!

    Good luck!
Sounds like chemical sensitization, and yes, you should probably stop using it because it sounds corrosive. Does it contain glycolic acid or retin?

Look up the ingredients %26amp; safety info by typing in the product name here: http://www.cosmeticsdatabase.com/
you should get a different cream.the one your using is probably the ones that burn your face so you wont have wrinkles.
The best way is to stop using it for a while and see how it does.
    DEAF HELP !!!!!!!
    your skin will fall off
Not so, but the fact your skin is getting dry does suggest your diet is poor.

Look at cream as a paint. It hides the imperfections. The imperfections are still there, but you are hiding the problem from being visible to yourself and to others.

If you put it on thick enough, your flesh could rot underneath but you could not see it because you have on a fake covering.

You diet is lacking in certain essential vitamins and minerals.

This is no different than dog food. Do you remember how they advertise that their product will give the dog a glossy coat(hair) because they added egg into the formula? This is true because there is some enzymes in the egg that the body needs for the hair.

People and dogs are the same. We are both warm blooded mammals.

Same for dandruff.(which is flaking skin). Fish oils(eating salt water fish every so often) can get rid of that. Or something else for something else.

That is why it is good to have a wide variety of food.

Pimples, zits and the like is excess oil in the foods you are eating(you body cannot #2 it all out, so your skin exudes it out which much gets caught under a layer of skin and blisters(acne or pimple). Cut back on eating fried foods, chocolate bars, potato chips and the like and watch it disappear naturally. It will.

Takes time. Just like it took time to make you sick, for sick is what you are.

Can i wear a Foundation Lotion after applying a face cream?

I need to go for a function and I would have to stand in the sun for a long time.So can I wear my face cream followed by foundation lotion. Can i wear a Foundation Lotion after applying a face cream?
yesCan i wear a Foundation Lotion after applying a face cream?
You should be weary of applying a lotion based foundation after a moisturizer, especially for a day in the sun. Try a tinted moisturizer instead. Aveda and Laura Mercier both offer this type of product, which contain spf for protection as well. They provide hydration and produce nice sheer coverage while evening out skin tone.
Hi..yes, you can do so..provided, how yr skin reactes to it. If your skin is oily, then dont put cream first..if its normal or dry, then its fine if u put cream before putting foundation lotion. You can also use moisturising lotion instead of cream..i think that would be a better option!!
yes u can as long as u let the first lotion dry a little bit and you apply them both on very evenly u may just wanna try going tanning a few times its not expensive make sure if u do u only go in for 10 min but new balbs r diff sooo it all depends at the salan soo ask someone there
I would use a light cream that absorbs easily with plenty of sunscreen in it. Also check there are foundations out there with sunscreen in them as well.
no don tdo it , it will block ur pores . just wear a foundation ..
    okk

What is a good affordable face cream for 50 something skin?

    Oil of Olay, or Neutrogena

Both are equally great and affordable, you can get either at WaLMART, WALGREENS, TARGET, etc. What is a good affordable face cream for 50 something skin?
There are not any magical creams, serums. Anything you simply apply to skin is going to do very little if anything at all. And many ridiculously expensive designer products have so many skin harming, skin aging ingredients. Some users have reported they have caused itchy, blistery skins, rashes, bumps and even acne.( verify with a Google search). This safe treatment gives really good fast results and it's using low cost natural oils. Pure olive oil is excellent. It doesn't harm skin but naturally benefits it in countless ways. If you massage thoroughly you will see the results even in one day. Skin will tighten, start to glow and look and feel smoother. You have to tighten and flex the part being massaged and in doing so it exercises and conditions all face (and some neck) muscles whilst skin is being firmed and conditioned by massage. This is the best treatment to revitalize and rejuvenate entire face. It can quickly and safely not just fade wrinkles a little but greatly minimize them. See results in a day or two (email me for more detailed info.) See happy users comments in my B.A. Try it - you and your bank balance will both benefit.

Is it okay to use a moisturizing face cream if I use a face wash that I leave on?

it's this three step thing and you leave the third one on, you don't wash it. but it really dries my face out. is it okay to use a moisturizer or will it make my face wash not work?Is it okay to use a moisturizing face cream if I use a face wash that I leave on?
if that is what it tells you on the bottle. if it tells you no, then you should not. need to know what it is that you are putting on our face before I can give a complete answer, sorry. Is it okay to use a moisturizing face cream if I use a face wash that I leave on?
use the moisturizer in the morning. use the leaveitstuff at night before you go to bed. use the leaveitstuff half the time you have been normally and/or use 1/2 of the amount
I'm not sure what you mean, this is my answer for what I THINK you mean!

DONT mix you're moisturizers, or face cream's, or anything that you put on you'r body, the chemical in that lotion, is to make that place do whatever, but if you mix them the chemicals will react and you'll end up with a blotchy face, and have the time you mix moisturizers its in the works of creating wrinkles by the age of 25-35, (after that you begin to get wrinkles anyways!)

  • Any good face creams out there?

my skin is starting to dry out due to the cold weather, heating etc. can anyone recommend a good face cream (my budget is $50) - i'm looking for something that isnt too greasy and can be worn during daytime under makeup. the night creams are a lot greasier which are okay while you are sleeping.Any good face creams out there?
Avon Anew cream (I think that's how it's spelled) is awesome. Oil of Olay is always good.Any good face creams out there?
    Olay is the best

    u can use it daily

    morning under makeup

    and while sleeping
BeneFit's Dear John. It's $30 for a decent size jar. It's light and won't clog pores. I love it. But if you're trying to prevent your skin from drying out, a really good night cream can help you even during the day. Bobbi Brown's Overnight Cream is $55 for a good size jar, but you use so little at a time that it lasts forever. I only use it during the winter. I know it's a bit over your budget, but it is a very good night cream with all long lasting effects. I don't even use a day cream when I use Bobbi Brown's stuff the night before.

Good luck and I hope you find something that works!
Cetaphil works really good...its very inexpensive, it has helped my dry skin tremendously, its not greasy, doesn't make you look oily, and it works great under makeup...I have tried everythign for dry skin and this seems to work the best...you can get it at wal-mart, target, etc.
Try a product called, ';Kiss My Face.'; I agree with the reviews on Drugstore.com -- it is great and nongreasy and natural.

WOW! I cannot believe I just answered a question in the makeup category...let's try to keep this quiet.
    Oil of Olay.
Clinique's dramatically different face cream is the best. Like a miracle in a bottle.
buy a trial size of Clinique Dramatically Different Moisture lotion..not the gel..should cost around ten dollars...put this on first..then apply OLAY complete moisture lotion UV defense..over top of this...this costs around seven dollars....works for me..
I just bought a bottle of Clean %26amp; Clear.
I use Neutrogena Healthy Defense. I mix it with my foundation and apply it all together. I swear by it!

Can face cream that is for oily to oily combination skin cause acne breakouts?

i have combination skin that is acne prone. i have been using an oil free moisturizer. it does not break my skin out but it seems my skin is developing lines, probably out of dryness. i am only 26. someone told me that my skin is probably breaking out and not responding to any med i have used bcoz it needs a good moisturizer. i am considering trying one that is for combo skin but not oil free....what do u think? i am thinking of clinique. plz let me know if u have any recommendations...

thanks! Can face cream that is for oily to oily combination skin cause acne breakouts?
Lines? As in Wrinkles? You probably have allergy from a component of your moisturizer or very dry skin. Oil free products may not be water based. Read the fine print, look for water-based. Clinique is okay though a bit expensive. Better priced is the VMV hypoallerginic line though I don't know if it's available where you live. I also have oily skin and I use a Vitamin E water based moisturizer. Can face cream that is for oily to oily combination skin cause acne breakouts?
This might sound crazy, but I've been using something called the OCM for the last two days and my skin has calmed down from breakouts and it's more moisturized, while at the same time less oily. OCM stands for Oil Cleaning Method. This is one link to it I've found with people talking about it http://www.thefashionspot.com/forums/f45/ocm-oil-cleansing-method-51204.html

I'm using Coconut Oil because I like it. After I wash my face, it actually feels dry in a strange way. Pimples are going away and blackheads are coming out easily. This is new to me but so far so good! Might be something to try for at least a few days and it's on the cheap side for the ingredients. Good Luck!
If your face is prone to breakouts I would suggest a natural product with less chemicals. It is the combination of the oil and the chemicals that does it to you. Look into purely natural product lines instead of heavy chems.. it will clear up the dryness and not be so harsh on your skin.

Can I replace my face cream with sunblock?

My face cream has an spf of 15 but I was thinking about just using sunblock since it has a greater spf. Would this make me break out if I use it continuously, especially if I apply make up on top of it? Is this a completely bad idea? Can I replace my face cream with sunblock?
SPF 15 really is plenty unless you are planning to be out all day in the sun.

If you need more protection, look for a sunscreen made especially for faces. Usually they are oil-free and non-comedegenic (don't clog pores).

If you wear foundation daily, there are also foundations that include an SPF, sometimes up to 15.

Whatever you use, remember that if you are out in the sun all day, re-apply your sunscreen every hour. Can I replace my face cream with sunblock?
I use mine all the time and I love it.
Why not just use a daily moisturizer with a higher spf? I use neutrogena moisturizer with 30 spf.
Protecting your skin from the sun is never a bad idea. Considering you can get skin cancer I think you are going to be fine with replacing your skin cream.
No, not at all a bad idea. You are thinking sensibly about your skin and sun damage!

Try using normal moisuriser first, then about 5 minutes later stick on the sun block and let that dry thoroughly before adding foundation.

    1. CLEANSING

Women who wear makeup - see Uma Thurman - should carry out a routine of cleansing, toning and moisturing turn back the clock each evening, as well as washing the face in the morning. 5 Minute Makeover Cleansing will remove old make-up and the grime and grease that have been accumulated during the day.

Remove mascara Lashes Unlimited with a cotton bud dipped in eye-dipped in eye-cleansing lotion. To make the job easier keep your hair off your face.

Remove the eyeshadow - Artistic Palletes - by gently wiping it off with a pad of clean cotton wool moistened with eye-cleansing lotion.

Pour a little face cleansing cream into the palm of one hand and dab it generously over the nose, chin, forehead and cheeks --- using two fingers of the other hand.

Massage the cream into the skin, starting under the throat, using a gentle upward motion.

Continue massaging the cream up to the forehead, using the fingertips.

Gently massage the cream from the eyes to the nose.

Massage cream back over the chin, which is particularly prone to blackheads. Use the index finger.

Remove the cream from the face with tissue pads in each hand. Start under the chin and work over the cheeks and on to the forehead

    2. TONING

Toners remove all traces of dirt, make-up or cleanser that remain after cleansing.

Immediately after cleansing apply toner to the forehead and cheeks on a pad of corron wool

Apply the toner to the crevices around the nose.

Apply the toner to the crevices around the chin.

    3. MOISTURIZING

Without moisture, the skin will not remain smooth and supple. The face is exposed to the drying effect of the weather, so moisturisers -- which form a film over the skin -- contain and augment the natural moisture.

Using the tips ofthe fingers, dot moisturising cream lightly all over the face.

Press the fingers of both hands into the centre of the forehead and work the cream slowly outwards. Pat the cream gentlyaround the eyes.

Work the cream around the jawline, chin and mouth with the middle fingers of both hands.

Massage the cream over the throat with alternating hands, using upward strokes from collar-bone to chin.

    It's for you...GoodBye :)

it makes your skin feel sof and it doesn't make it oily or dry. it's good for all skin types, and it works fast like in 10 days or so. but, it's pretty expensive, about 12-50 dollars depending on how much you buy and what product you buy.
First off, no cream will help if you're not healthy inside. Beauty starts from the inside out. Lots of water and milk daily. Yogurt (Not lite). Anything with Calcium. An Detoxify your skin weekly with (ONly 100%clay not with any chemicals) kitty litter. I know it sounds icky, but it really works. Everyone thinks I have a cat...LOL. It's a big model secret, (I'm not a model). You poor a little into a paper or plastic cup, (disposable cup), mix warm water. Let sit for 2 minutes and stir with fingers or popsycle stick. Put on face for (No More than),, 15 minutes and rinse off. Your skinn is renewed. It is so great for me becasue I have combination skin and get acne sometimes. Also, put a none perfumed cream on at night before bed. To keep elasticity of skin. Hope it helps. They say eating samon is great for your skin. Never tried it, don't know. Also, remember pat dry your face after washing, never wipe. Lauren Hutton's website may have help. Her stuff is great in the sense I didn't break out, but it didn't do much for me, but then I smoke...so I have to work doubly hard on what I do. Also, if you do the mask and remove it after 15 minutes, your face may be pink for a bit. Don't worry, it goes away within half an hour.
Apply a fresh load of semen to your face daily.
I like the Aveda products. I've tried lots, but Bliss is too harsh for me, and the rest of the stuff just doesn't seem to work.
    oil of olay
I think it would be any anti-ageing cream. But i prefer Recova.
I started using Avon Ageless Results day and night cream. I have used them now for a couple of months and I really like them. You might find an Avon rep to give you some samples and see if you like it!

If you saw Nip/Tuck, apparently sperm from a young man can be very beneficial for aging skin. Then again its fictional. Really though, I use Clinique repairwear night cream. It's very thick and rich. I think it helps with the lines but I don't have many to begin with but i've noticed a softer and smoother complexion since I started using it though.

What is the best face cream that has a morning glow for dull skin?

i have dull skin on my face although my skin color is quite fair. my face is oily but when i put powder it looks dry. when i put moisturizer at night it causes pimples. Burt's Bees Radiance Day Cream. They also might a heavier one for night called Radiance Night Cream, but I just use the Day Cream. It's a great product. It's all-natural, won't make your skin any more oily, and it won't irritate it either. You can get it at the drugstore for $14.99.What is the best face cream that has a morning glow for dull skin?
Your skin is basically sensitive skin any cream with preservative will not suit your skin and u might have combination skin. as skin changes with the weather so u have to apply a very light moisturizer and a serum made for sensitive skin. The moisturizer applied by you is not the right one and so u are having breakouts. They are not pimples. Its just a Suggestion For you You can try Lakme Peach milk Moisturizer and try to wash your face with Milk (kaccha milk). this will help you balance your skin. And later on i would suggest you some serum. as of now there are no serums in the market which are good enough for your type of skin...

Take care Have a gr8 time.
i have been using Mark Brightening Cream for the last couple of months and my skin has never looked more clear and glowing. It has the slightest shimmer in it and makes your skin very smooth and velvety! It's not going to lighten the skin though.

  • Can someone help me find a good face cream for oily skin and big pores?

I have oily skin and bigger pores. I have tried several masks and creams to help with this, but they don't seem to work very well. Can any of you ladies reccomend a good mask or face cream? Can someone help me find a good face cream for oily skin and big pores?
Neutrogena or Oil of Olay make oil-free, non-comedogenic moisturizers. If you need more intensive moisture, you can get Philosophy ';When Hope Is Not Enough'; in oil-free, sensitive skin. Can someone help me find a good face cream for oily skin and big pores?
if you use noxema it might help you! good luck!!!
Try getting something from Avon they have really good skin care products. I have oily skin to and avon products always helped. The also have a mask for reducing pores.
Biore has an excellent line. Try that! :)
Avon has True Porefection which is really good. It's on special right now on the website any 3 products for 9.99. Check it out.
Try Mary Kay skin care products, they work relay good.

Can I get opinions on the best face cream, preferably for overnight repair?

I am looking for a cream that reduces pore size and firms/lifts skin. Especially for bags that form underneath your eyes :) I don't have particularly sensitive skin, but I prefer treatments that aren't harsh. Maybe a more natural/mineral treatment? I just want to hear what has worked for others! Can I get opinions on the best face cream, preferably for overnight repair?
i tried mens Clinique overnite repairs and it has done wonders.Try getting sample sachets if you cant afford the jar.Since mens skin is harder it is great and faster for women.good luck !!

My cousin tried l'oreal spf 60 with clarins hydrating cream and her spots are gone and skin is looking good. Try that too.Can I get opinions on the best face cream, preferably for overnight repair?
Avon Ultimate is an excellent product. Also Olay makes very good night creams.
The only products that I feel actually do what they are supposed to do are only found in spas.
Try the AVON Anew retroactive line.Great products that actually work. They also have a perfecting cream that I like a lot too.Good luck!!!
The Merle Norman Three Steps To Beauty skin care products worked for me. My Mom has been using it since the 1960s and her skin is beautiful and young.
Hi. I'm a sensitive skinned red head (so you'll know which angle I'm coming from). An emolient that is super hydrating is Mary Kay Extra Emolient Night Cream. If you like natural try straight vegetable glycerine. I've used this too. It draws moisture from the air to your skin! You can find it at most health food stores. As for Mary Kay, try to find it on ebay so you don't pay too much. I had to stop using both because I break out from dirty air. Haha! Good luck!

Go to Wal-Mart and get Equate cream in a little tub. I've used it on my face and not only does it last forever, but you don't need much and it really helps. Not even $5.What is a really moisturizing face cream/lotion for my ultra dry skin?
The brand Av茅ne has a line of products made specifically for sensitive and dry skin. I've tried Aveeno...it's pretty good. Nivea is REALLY moisturizing...I think it'd be better in the winter though!
go with the aveeno, my sons doctor recommended it for his

eczema and he hasn't had any problems since.
Eucerine Calming Cream. Feels greasy at first but it soaks in and feels good.
try Nicole Miller products! pricey but it is healthy for you and alot of brand name products arent that safe to use in the long run!
Use aloe vera gel after bathing on the dry areas. There are many helpful tips to cure dry skin at http://useinfo-dryskin.blogspot.com/
    Try Vaseline. :)
try proactive even if you dont have acne it is good for moistureizing.

How do we know which face cream perfectly suites our skin?

I have an oily skin but SOMETIMES (in winters) it becomes dry.How do we know which face cream perfectly suites our skin?
    Mostly by trial and error.

Most agents selling products will tell you that their's is the absolute best but that's not always true.

Our skin usually requires more moisture in the winter because everything is so dry. So you might need a richer moisturiser in winter, and a lighter oil free one in summer.

Again trial and error. How do we know which face cream perfectly suites our skin?
even if you have oily skin you should still be using a mousterizer. When we have oily skin we tend to over strip it to remove the oil, but that only makes your face produce more oil.

choose an oil free mousterizer and use it daily.

  • Can you suggest an affordable face cream to help with wrinkles?

Seems I got a new batch for Christmas.

Right now I'm using something from Avon that's a moisturizing type thing. But I've been noticing deeper more defined lines and seems I need better stuff. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.Can you suggest an affordable face cream to help with wrinkles?
Depends where your wrinkles are, me for example I'm getting wrinkles around my eyes and around my lips and I started using MK anti aging moisturizer and their regular moisturizer for dry skin and I've really been able to notice a difference, I guess my skin just needed tons of moisturizing or something. Here's the address to the site I purchase from, I would recomend their products.

    Can I mix face creams?

I have one that is good for my dry skin but the smell is just makes me gag it's like a ';old lady'; smell... Can I mix it with a better smelling cream? Can I mix face creams?
NO! Never mix the creams because...............

    1-It ruins the face creams.

2-It can cause your face to break out even worse.

3-You can get itchy irretaed red bumps.

4-You will have to buy new face cream if it ruins the face cream and the face cream was expensive.

I hope I helped you at least a little bit and don't ever mix the creams. Thanks!!!Can I mix face creams?
You could try it but if that doesnt work then try putting on some perfume
That would probably ruin the cream.

Put it on then spray the air with perfume.

Don't out fragrance in the actual cream as that might irritate your skin, especially if its dry.

Are there creams that lighten your face? That is, make ur face color go back to your original skin color?

For example, I am white but i have been tanned for a long time now, but parts of my legs still have my natural skin color, and these creams are supposed to make your face go back to its natural color, I think it was NIVEA. If anyone has more information on this please tell me. THANKSAre there creams that lighten your face? That is, make ur face color go back to your original skin color?
Why dont you try the kojic acid cream, bleaching cream or bleaching lotion or even the glycolic cream. It will work miracle and remove the top layer of your skin and u will have even and white skin...and of course cheaper than anything...

http://www.freewebs.com/pinaybeautyprodu鈥?/a>Are there creams that lighten your face? That is, make ur face color go back to your original skin color?
I don't know of any creams, but if you get a really good exfoliator or microdermabrasion, it will remove the top layer of skin. That will make you lighter
You can try these home remedies to remove tan %26amp; lighten skin:

Mix 1 table spoon of milk powder, 1 table spoon of honey, 1 table spoon of lemon juice, and 陆 table spoon of almond oil. Apply on face and wash off after 10-15 minutes. This pack helps bring shine to the skin and also removes tan.

Mix oatmeal with curd and tomato juice and apply on the face. Keep it on for 20 minutes and then wash it off with cold water. It helps remove the tan and lightens the skin.

Place sliced raw potato on the face. It helps reduce blemishes and other marks.

Applying turmeric powder along with lime juice removes the tan. Lime juice is natural bleach.

Dried orange peels mixed with curd also help reduce blemishes and scars. Wash off this mixture with cold water after 15 minutes.

Soak 4 almonds overnight. Grind into a fine paste using milk. Apply on face and neck and leave it overnight. Wash with cold water in the morning. Do this daily for 15 days, followed by twice a week.

A table spoon of gram flour mixed with 2 table spoon of raw milk and 2-3 drops of lime juice works well for lightening dark skin. Apply this mixture and leave it for 15 minutes before washing off. Repeat for 4 weeks and follow up with once a week.

Apply a paste of fresh ground mint leaves and leave it for about 20 minutes. Wash with cold water, continue for 15 days.

Apply a mixture of grated tomato with 2-3 drops of lime juice on the face. Leave it for 20 minutes before washing off. Do this twice a day for 15-20 days for best results.
I use Natural Sea Beauty - Whitening Essence and it really clean my skin complexion, you can find it at http://www.bodycarebymg.com

What is your opinion on DHC face creams ?

I don't think it's good enough, you should go with other brands.

What are some good creams, or whatever i can use to clear my face?

i need something to clear my face. what should i buy? do those face masks really work? and for circles around the eyes is it good to use slices of cucumbers over ur eyes? does that really work? and how long should i leave it over my eyes?

any other tips u can give me would be great. thanksWhat are some good creams, or whatever i can use to clear my face?
    This is what I recommend:

Mix baking soda and witch hazel/or water together until it comes to a good constancy, and then spread on your face and leave it on for 10-15 minutes. these two things are very inexpensive and it's very easy to do since there is only two ingredients.

Toothpaste is good for drying out your pimple (for some people). Put only a little bit before you go to sleep. Some people use this as a mask but DON鈥楾 EVER DO THIS! It can change your skin tone and make your face discolored.

Aloe vera helps scars lighten and less noticeable (lemon, cocoa butter, witch hazel, and tea tree oil do the same thing). Use the gel (of the aloe plant) or the real thing.

Try to buy a cleanser that works for you, and when you wash your face, open your pores with hot water (not too hot, or it will dry out your skin) and massage it gently into your skin. Then, use cold water at the end to close you pores. The smaller your pores are, the less likely you're prone to pimples. Clearasil, Neutrogena, and proactive are good choices to start if you want a cleanser. Don't use body soaps because they dry out your skin. Don't scrub too hard either, because it can irritate your skin.

An egg yoke can be used to make you pores smaller. I used this when I had pimples. Just take the egg yolk (the yellow part) and leave it on your face for 10-15 minutes and rinse off with warm water and then splash your face with cold water.

Keep your hair out of your face because the oils in your hair could go into your pores. Change you sheets because they're are trapped with dirt, oils, etc.

Zinc (type of vitamin) is the one of the best things you can use to get rid of pimples. You can buy these almost about any large store (such as Wal-Mart or Shaws.) Have one tablet per day and try to cut down the junk food and replace it with vegetables and fruits. Drink lots of water and don't pop you acne. Popping acne can lead to acne scars.

If you have sensitive skin, don't use make up. Some of the things in make up can clog your pores and cause pimples. Keep your hands out of your face as much as you can because you hands a full of bacteria and oils. What are some good creams, or whatever i can use to clear my face?
sexy is right the clear skin from Avon is very good, i have been selling for 17 years and that works the best, you will see a big different in about a week, and you skin will get a little red but that is OK, means that it is working

sexy small world i am also a beauty adviser and also a requiter. good luck with your job.
Wash your face daily with a facial cleanser ... I do %26amp; it helps!

    Don't use pills :s
well i have two products that I personally love because they work so well!

for acne: Clean%26amp;Clear Advantage ACNE SPOT TREATMENT (available at drugstores)

for under the eye circles: Caudal铆e Contour cream for the eyes and lips (available at Sephora)

    These are great!

    Hope I helped..

    xo.
Go to walmart and get nature's cure for men. Its ten dollars and you get cream and pills to help. Works wonders
For the dark circles around the eyes...Arbonne's RE9 eye cream works wonders! My sister used to have very dark circle under her eyes and they are now gone.

About clearing up your skin...Arbonne has an acne skin care line which includes a supplement to support healthier skin from the inside out. There also is a product called the thermal fusion masque that works great-your skin feels as smooth as a baby's bottom after using this product (it's like a mini-facial in the convenience of your home). Let me know if you would like more information. Good luck!
men will love this oatmilk mask -

mix regular oatmeal (not instant) and milk, leave on clean face for 20 minutes before wash off..

for dark circles, make thin slices of potato and leave on eyes for 20 minutes every night.. that should help.
cucumbers don't really work for that, unless they are puffy (in that case, make sure they are cold). cucumbers only has a cold-compress effect, they don't work for circles.

circles are caused by broken blood vessels under your eyes, making the 'purple' colour.

Stillman's Freckle Cream seems to work, if you'd like to give it a try.

I use plain Ivory soap and it cleared my skin (i've tried everything up to %26amp; including Pine Tar soap, which STINKS).

    hope this helps!
    avon clearskin

Coco butter works real good. Apply it a couple of time's a day. In about 2 weeks they should be almost gone.

Hey...guys...plz suggest some effective face creams that will lighten my skin complexion...thnx?

NOTE:something which is not very expensive...Hey...guys...plz suggest some effective face creams that will lighten my skin complexion...thnx?
i agree that, no fairness cream makes fair instead produce wrinkle.it is just for moment.i think u need to search for powder acc.to ur skin type.which is not the permanent solution.but ya,it makes u to feel good.

even actress use compact powder and foundation to look fair.

u can take example of rani.if u are indian or pakistani or nepali or bangaladeshi, it is our bad luck to get fair complextion.one thing i tll u,southasian boys like brown-chocolate complextion more than white. but i think hate extremly black. in which catagory are u in?

however believe in ur talent more than ur color.

but ,if ur aim is to be actress no option else than to put foudation and powder.Hey...guys...plz suggest some effective face creams that will lighten my skin complexion...thnx?
it has been scientifically proved that no fairness cream can change the color your skin or make you look fair.

the only way out is plastic surgery.

but i think that you should rather worry more about your deeds and thoughts and you as a human rather than your looks.

smart gals wont go after you for your looks but for your intellect.
Please don't use any chemicals to lighten your complexion.Just think about it, if it's making the outside lighter than what effect is it having on the inside. If you're worried about scars and stuff or blemishes then try using some cocoa butter or shea butter.

Has anyone tried and tested sthe shimmer face creams that do make your face glow and not make it look ........

totally obvious if you could please tell me and what ou thought of it that would be great many thanks.xxxHas anyone tried and tested sthe shimmer face creams that do make your face glow and not make it look ........
Neutrogena makes a really good subtle lotion. I think it's called morning burst. I really like it. It adds a subtle glow, if you will, instead of an actual tint. It just makes you feel a little more refreshed, esp. when you drag out of bed in the morning.Has anyone tried and tested sthe shimmer face creams that do make your face glow and not make it look ........
my fav is Benefits Hollywood - glo. I put just a drop on my palm then add my moisturizer and mix...then apply to my face. Its not obvious but has an nice glow.

Any shimmer you use...remember to keep it light.....and mostly use on your cheek bone, nose ...jawline/neck.
clear radiance by bare minerals looks great!
I love shimmer foundation.... Try RIMMEL LONDON, they also include a free bronzer (use just to highlight your cheek bones and whatever else you want to ';POP'; Neutrogena also has a GREAT shimmer body lotion.
I tired the olay tinted daily moisturiser. It was nice and did add a subtle glow. But places where i put too much it streaked (side of my nose was a fanstatic place). So make sure you put it on even and don't forget to wash your hands because it tints them as well.

    Face creams and Serums?

Does sanyone know of any drugstore brand creams or serums that really help for firming the skin and stuff of that sort? I have a few but I want to know what other people are using that actually work.Face creams and Serums?
drugstore brand? hmmm, the only drugstore brand i use is walgreens hand lotion, doesnt really do much, especially after you wash your hands, but works ok before you wash it off, like over night. trouble is you want it to stay soft afterwards too, and it doesnt :-(

    so...

i think your best bet is to opt for something more costly, since you want firming and not just moisturizing. my mother swears by nivea cream. doesnt do poop for me, though *shrug*.

have you tried olay? dove? neutrogena? roc? hope this helps. :-)

    Proactive it really works
Totally natural?? Get him to cleanse properly first. Get yourself some organic apple cider vinegar. Mix two tablespoons of ACV and baking soda into a paste and massage over your face as you would a cleanser with cotton balls. Then rinse off with warm water. Baking soda is naturally abrasive and cleansing. The apple cider vinegar will help reduce scarring/pimples/marks and rejuvenate skin. Then use a small amount of cold pressed extra virgin olive oil and massage in as a moisturiser. Even if you already have oily skin, all skin types need some oil. Voila !! Wonderful isn't it........ Really cheap, natural and makes you feel and look bloody brilliant !!!

    PEACE

believe it or not preparation h is a great cream for men and women, its great for wrinkles and its not greasy, if the name puts him off, then he can put it another container, but it works really well, just try it and see!
Noxema or Oil of Olay are good. So is almond scented Jergens lotion (the original.)
Rejuvenex -- has over 25 active ingredients -- antioxidants, anti-inflammatories, anti-glycation, various moisturizers, an exfolient, sunscreen, etc. It is the best as long as one doesn't happen to have skin sensitive to one of the ingredients, of which there are many. It's the most advanced face cream available at the current time. It's ideal for both genders.
    Avon has some good stuff for that, I don't know what it's called but, they make good men's grooming products. Also, oil of OLAY is good. It doesn't have to be for men only. The smell is probably the biggest concern. It may smell ';girly';
Proactive works awesome! Then just use regular Oil of Olay. And if ya smoke STOP!!!

  • What is the difference in face cream and regular lotion?

Is there something in face cream that is better than regular unsented lotion that I can put on my face? What is the difference in face cream and regular lotion?
(hand) lotions are designed to ';quick dry'; which means they contain alcohol - not good to put alcohol on your face. be aware that advertisers cater to our lack of knowledge in this field and will boast the reduction of wrinkles and youthful looks... trust your dermatologist. stay out of the sun, and use sunscreens, wear a hat if planning a trip to the beach, stay away from tanning booths and use whatever moisturizing product feels natural on your face. What is the difference in face cream and regular lotion?
Body cream has more oil, so it might make your face break out. Actually it could make your body break out too.
Other lotion could be to thick and make your face break out. You should only use face lotion on your face!
Nothing. They are products designed to make you spend more money and make the corporations richer, and experiment on animals.
Lotion is what you buy at the store. Face cream is what a man ejaculates on your face.
Moisturizer for the face is meant to reduce the signs of aging.

Moisturizing lotion is heavier and meant to soften the skin.

Never use lotion on your face. It can clog your pores and cause break-outs (acne).
face cream is usually lighter and doent block pores.
I believe face creams are thicker than lotion with less oil in them
face cream is for face. rgular lotion is for body. simple
Face cream costs more. It's like gravy versus sauce. Turkey and gravy costs $3.95 at the corner dinner. Turkey medallions and mushroom sauce costs $25.00 at a fancy restaurant.
one's for the face and the other's for the rest of your body duh

Can anyone tell me about the best toning face cream for african american females?

I live in the UK and I need something to even out the skin on my face because I've got dark patches on the side of my face which is quite embarrasing. I've used clear essence but it hasn't proved to be a remedy. What could I possibly use for my face, to clear out the dark patches/blemishes I have and even out my skin tone as well? Can anyone tell me about the best toning face cream for african american females?
u can try skin llightening products that some african american men and women have already tried.. u can find them here -Can anyone tell me about the best toning face cream for african american females?
Have you tried Palmer's Cocoa Butter? You could also try Ambi Fade Cream. I've been using Palmer's Cocoa Butter for my scars and it has really improved the quality of my skin. Not only that but it's not a heavy lotion, it won't make you feel greasy.

One thing you may want to keep in mind is how long you've had the scars. The longer you've had them, the longer it's going to take for your complexion to become more even. Experiment with different products to see what produces the best results for your skin type. Good luck!

I need to buy a body lotion and a face cream. Nothing too expensive though, I want something that I could get at like Duane Reade or something. Also it would be nice if its something with an SPF something.

I have normal to dry skin.

So what body lotion and face cream would you recommend I buy? What body lotion and face cream should I buy?
A face moisturizer that definitely works and isn't too expensive is Clean %26amp; Clear's Day face lotion. I have normal to dry skin too, and it doesn't make my face oily like a lot of other lotions have, plus it has SPF 15 and is only about $7.

As for body lotion, Olay's Quench lotion makes my skin as soft as it's ever been without being oily like body butter makes it. It's a little sparkly, too, which I wasn't expecting. Haha. :)

What body lotion and face cream should I buy?
As far as face cream you should not try to buy something extremely cheap, you will only waste your money. Neutrogena has good facial moisturizers...pick one that is best for your skin type.

Now as far as body lotion. There is this cream petroleum it hasn't got a scent to it. It is real inexpensive.....usually the store brand ($1.75-$2.00). It is real creamy and keeps your skin soft. What I do is I mix it with a little of my scented lotion and it takes on the smell of what ever the scented lotion is. You are well moisturized all day and you can smell like what ever scent you want with out using a lot of it.

    I hope that helped
Ok, seriously, get the Mary Kay timewise miracle set. It's amazing. I used to use the wal-mart brands like maybelline and clean and clear. They're better than nothing, but don't really work that great. I'm 26 now, and I started noticing fine lines. Especially when I was tired, my eyes would get all saggy and gross! It freaked me out, because of course I thought I would stay young forever :-)

I started using Mary Kay a few months ago. It's seriously incredible. My face looks younger, and my skin is so smooth. My estitician (skin doctor :-) said I have the skin of an 18 year old again! The face wash has a gentle cleanser and exfoliant, and then the day and night solutions are called ';botox in a bottle.'; The day solution has spf 25. I work outside, and one day my whole body got burnt to a crisp but my face was fine! The night solution is so soothing and repairs cellular damage. Then the moisturizer is the best!

The best part is, if you find someone in your area selling it, they'll come and let you try it all out for free. They'll figure out what the best combination is for your skin, and also let you try a custom look with the makeup. They have all these new mineral powders that are awesome - I used to use bare minerals and these are even better, and cheaper. AND, it's 100% guaranteed, so if you don't like it you can return it. Your consultant just returns it to the company and it doesnt' cost her or you anything.

It's expensive, because it's the same caliber of stuff you get at department stores (like Clinique). But it's so worth it, you'll be happy you used it when you get older. Most Mary Kay consultants will let you do a payment plan. The miracle set is about $90, but it lasts 3-5 months if you portion it correctly. Mine lasts about 6 because I really eek it out :-)

Yeah, I do sell it, but I'm probably not the one you're going to buy it from so I'm not trying to sell you on anything. I just really do love the products. That's the reason I sell it in the first place, plus I get everything at wholesale :-)

Surf around their website, it's really nice. They have a product for everything! AND, if you host a party you can get some of this stuff for free!

(The set they have listed is $104 but includes foundation. You could get the mineral powder foundation as part of it, which makes it a good deal. You can also get just the face care for $90. Like I said, it lasts so long it ends up costing about the same as getting a bunch of the cheap stuff).
I am a fan of sugar and or salt scrubs as opposed to lotions. For body care. Face lotions are a whole other story I think nutrigenia is best for inexpensive. Check out

What is a good face cream that will help improve a mans complexion?

My father has asked me to see if I can find a cream for his complexion. He wants something that is not oily and that he can use at night. Unscented would be good as well. Thank You in advance..What is a good face cream that will help improve a mans complexion?
My brother (age 50) uses the ';Clinique for Men'; skin care product line and has had a lot of luck with it, he's been using it for years after my Mother bugged him to take care of his skin. I'm not sure if it is scented. I just know from my sister in law said that he uses it diligently and it's doesn't make his skin oily or greasy at all. I suppose that much like the Clinique skin care line for women, they have different products for different types of skin (oily/dry/normal, etc.). Hope that helps,What is a good face cream that will help improve a mans complexion?
