I advise you to try Clarins products, they really work fine. Just visit any Departmental Store and go to the Clarins counter and get advise from their beauty consultant there.

Apart from knowing thats their products are safe, not tested on animals yadda yadda they'll take the time to go over what make-up is good/bad...whats going on in your body to cause the flushing and products that might help...you don't need to book an appointment, just talk to a member of staff...random picking of products in stores can be costly and ineffective and beauty counters in places like Debenhams, Fenwicks etc...just want to sell products, leave you looking like Aunt Sally and make cash. Cool gel packs from superdrug, boots etc...also give you a quick fix and hide desceitly in your handbag...

I am so overwhelmed by all of the things we need to stay away from during pregnancy! I am having breakouts, and am wondering if the following are ok to put on my face:
-salicylic acid acne wash
-benzoyl peroxide
-sulfer mask

My face has been breaking out since I've been pregnant..and I've just been putting a little neosporin on my breakouts to help with the infection and iflammation..and of course washing with cetaphil soap twice a day. Forget the jargon, the high sounding fundas. AHA ( Alpha hydroxy acid ) products can easily be made at home, since they are made of fruit, and you are bound to find the remaining ingredients on your kitchen shelf or in the fridge! Fruits are natural anti-oxidants.
The Acid test鈥?
Malic acid: Apples, vinegar, applesauce, cider
Lactic acid: Buttermilk, yogurt, powdered skim milk, sour cream, blackberries, tomatoes
Tartaric Acid: Grapes, grape juice, wine, cream of tartar
Citric Acid: Citrus fruits such as lemons, limes, grapefruit, and orange
Glycolic acid: Sugar cane
In a hurry? Cut a fruit into small cubes ( papaya, melon, strawberry, banana etc ) and rub on your face. Leave it for 10 mins. Rinse and see the difference! Pureed fruit also makes for a delicious skin treat. Apply and leave on for 10 mins. For best results.
Lets whip up delicious concoctions of these fruits and vegetables and help you discover a new you!

Ratio: 1/2 cup rose water :1 teaspoon pure glycerin
Add 1 teaspoon almond oil
Make the rose or lavender water by placing a small handful of dried organic rose petals or lavender in a glass jar. Add boiling water to cover. Let it stand overnight, then strain well. Combine the remaining ingredients in a glass jar and shake to blend. Dab on fingers and massage into your skin. Rinse with warm water.
Shelf life: 1 month in refrigerator.

many different companies have them, forget about non-comedogenic, you have to experiment with them to find one you are not allergic to, people often confuse acne with allergies. There is a different. HORMONAL SPOTS鈥ny female with spots I'd recommend trying dianette or yasmine contraceptive pills because if it's hormonal that can sort everything out within weeks鈥hough it can take a couple of months to get used to the pill.

But if you're trying to prevent your skin from drying out, a really good night cream can help you even during the day. Bobbi Brown's Overnight Cream is $55 for a good size jar, but you use so little at a time that it lasts forever. I only use it during the winter. I know it's a bit over your budget, but it is a very good night cream with all long lasting effects. I don't even use a day cream when I use Bobbi Brown's stuff the night before.

But if you're trying to prevent your skin from drying out, a really good night cream can help you even during the day. Bobbi Brown's Overnight Cream is $55 for a good size jar, but you use so little at a time that it lasts forever. I only use it during the winter. I know it's a bit over your budget, but it is a very good night cream with all long lasting effects. I don't even use a day cream when I use Bobbi Brown's stuff the night before.

Cetaphil works really good...its very inexpensive, it has helped my dry skin tremendously, its not greasy, doesn't make you look oily, and it works great under makeup...I have tried everythign for dry skin and this seems to work the best...you can get it at wal-mart, target, etc.

i have combination skin that is acne prone. i have been using an oil free moisturizer. it does not break my skin out but it seems my skin is developing lines, probably out of dryness. i am only 26. someone told me that my skin is probably breaking out and not responding to any med i have used bcoz it needs a good moisturizer. i am considering trying one that is for combo skin but not oil free....what do u think? i am thinking of clinique. plz let me know if u have any recommendations...

I'm using Coconut Oil because I like it. After I wash my face, it actually feels dry in a strange way. Pimples are going away and blackheads are coming out easily. This is new to me but so far so good! Might be something to try for at least a few days and it's on the cheap side for the ingredients. Good Luck!

The moisturizer applied by you is not the right one and so u are having breakouts. They are not pimples. Its just a Suggestion For you You can try Lakme Peach milk Moisturizer and try to wash your face with Milk (kaccha milk). this will help you balance your skin. And later on i would suggest you some serum. as of now there are no serums in the market which are good enough for your type of skin...

Hi. I'm a sensitive skinned red head (so you'll know which angle I'm coming from). An emolient that is super hydrating is Mary Kay Extra Emolient Night Cream. If you like natural try straight vegetable glycerine. I've used this too. It draws moisture from the air to your skin! You can find it at most health food stores. As for Mary Kay, try to find it on ebay so you don't pay too much. I had to stop using both because I break out from dirty air. Haha! Good luck!

If you like natural try straight vegetable glycerine. I've used this too. It draws moisture from the air to your skin! You can find it at most health food stores. As for Mary Kay, try to find it on ebay so you don't pay too much. I had to stop using both because I break out from dirty air. Haha! Good luck!

Mix 1 table spoon of milk powder, 1 table spoon of honey, 1 table spoon of lemon juice, and 陆 table spoon of almond oil. Apply on face and wash off after 10-15 minutes. This pack helps bring shine to the skin and also removes tan.
Mix oatmeal with curd and tomato juice and apply on the face. Keep it on for 20 minutes and then wash it off with cold water. It helps remove the tan and lightens the skin.
Place sliced raw potato on the face. It helps reduce blemishes and other marks.
Applying turmeric powder along with lime juice removes the tan. Lime juice is natural bleach.
Dried orange peels mixed with curd also help reduce blemishes and scars. Wash off this mixture with cold water after 15 minutes.
Soak 4 almonds overnight. Grind into a fine paste using milk. Apply on face and neck and leave it overnight. Wash with cold water in the morning. Do this daily for 15 days, followed by twice a week.

Toothpaste is good for drying out your pimple (for some people). Put only a little bit before you go to sleep. Some people use this as a mask but DON鈥楾 EVER DO THIS! It can change your skin tone and make your face discolored.
Aloe vera helps scars lighten and less noticeable (lemon, cocoa butter, witch hazel, and tea tree oil do the same thing). Use the gel (of the aloe plant) or the real thing.
Try to buy a cleanser that works for you, and when you wash your face, open your pores with hot water (not too hot, or it will dry out your skin) and massage it gently into your skin. Then, use cold water at the end to close you pores. The smaller your pores are, the less likely you're prone to pimples. Clearasil, Neutrogena, and proactive are good choices to start if you want a cleanser. Don't use body soaps because they dry out your skin. Don't scrub too hard either, because it can irritate your skin.

Face creams and Serums?
Does sanyone know of any drugstore brand creams or serums that really help for firming the skin and stuff of that sort? I have a few but I want to know what other people are using that actually work.Face creams and Serums?
drugstore brand? hmmm, the only drugstore brand i use is walgreens hand lotion, doesnt really do much, especially after you wash your hands, but works ok before you wash it off, like over night. trouble is you want it to stay soft afterwards too, and it doesnt :-(

Totally natural?? Get him to cleanse properly first. Get yourself some organic apple cider vinegar. Mix two tablespoons of ACV and baking soda into a paste and massage over your face as you would a cleanser with cotton balls. Then rinse off with warm water. Baking soda is naturally abrasive and cleansing. The apple cider vinegar will help reduce scarring/pimples/marks and rejuvenate skin. Then use a small amount of cold pressed extra virgin olive oil and massage in as a moisturiser. Even if you already have oily skin, all skin types need some oil. Voila !! Wonderful isn't it........ Really cheap, natural and makes you feel and look bloody brilliant !!!

You are well moisturized all day and you can smell like what ever scent you want with out using a lot of it.

They're better than nothing, but don't really work that great. I'm 26 now, and I started noticing fine lines. Especially when I was tired, my eyes would get all saggy and gross! It freaked me out, because of course I thought I would stay young forever :-)
