Do generic face creams work as well as expensive brand name ones?

I recently purchased Equaline daily renewal cream and was wondering if it would have the same effects as say Oil of Olay.Do generic face creams work as well as expensive brand name ones?
Oil of Olay has been proven to have better results in overall testing than face creams from department store brands that cost $300-$500. It is an excellent product at an excellent price. You can go to olay.com and find out the history of their products as well as all the awards they have won for them. As far as other generic brands, many are made by the same companies that make the name brands, contain the same ingredients and are packaged under the generic name saving consumers a lot of money. Occasionally you may find a generic product that you may not like as well as the name brand. Many store brands offer a 100% satisfaction guaranteed or your money back offer on their store products. If you try a name brand product you do not like, you can always call the manufacturer and they will ususally compensate you for the product. I think it's always a good idea to try something before you decide if you like it or not.Do generic face creams work as well as expensive brand name ones?
well i use alot of different face stuff, and my face stays pretty clear really. i sometimes use proactiv, that semi-expensive stuff that they show celebrities use on commercials. but it really does work for majority of the people that use it... i've only heard of two people not having it do anything to their face, but that's just your personal skin, you know? i also use a cheap norwegian brand of mud-mask face cream, and it really makes your face feel clean and soft... it doesn't really clear it up, obviously, but it makes it feel and look alot nicer [minus blemishes, if that's the problem.]
It depends on your skin type and any skin conditions you have. I have found that Clinique works much better than any other product, even other ';expensive'; ones.
i've tyed expensive and it works much better but all deoends on ur skin
