Allergic Reactions to Eye and Face Creams?

I have had an allergic reaction of sorts to eye and face creams labeled as lifting and firming creams...what could possibly be in these creams that cause redness of the skin..the eye cream left my eyelids and under eyes swollen and red. Some hand cream I had that was lifting and firming made my hands rough and red. This was Estee Lauders Intensive Line and Avons Lifting and Firming line of products...Any one else had these sort of reactions and what was the cause....any good products you might have found that worked would be appreciated too!Allergic Reactions to Eye and Face Creams?
Whatever the component, you are allergic to it, so try a completely different line! I like Vichy products, you can get them online. From the drugstore: Neutrogena and Olay are among the best.Allergic Reactions to Eye and Face Creams?
Estee Lauder tends to be strong in many of its products. Avon is as well. These are major brands, which they make their product stronger than others, and more inexpensive brands. Like answerer 1 gave you, Neutragena is pretty good....especially for sensitive skin. I cannot use those products at all bc they burn my skin. I have tried Mary Kay as well, and they all burn. So intstead of that, I have used just night cream instead.
I really do not know. but I am glad you have brought this up.

The skin around my eyes looked ancient, wrinkled and the skin dry and faking. I wondered how this could happen when I was putting on moisturiser. I looked at the bottle this creme was in only to find it was cleanser.....I had only used it for a couple or three days.

Tried a water based hair remover for my face and my skin was red raw after first try.
